Microsoft goes Formula 1.

Microsoft will be responsible in 2008 for the electronic motor management of all formula 1 cars on the grid. As we all know Microsoft has a serious image problem; i’ve gathered some random reactions from users on the internet. Posted below.

For the record: I do respect Microsoft as a company. They have become a big company and so they catch a lot of wind, sometimes that is fair, sometimes not. Without them developing a graphical Operating System a few years back we all would have typed on typingmachines a lot longer.

Some random reactions about MS developing the motor managament software:

You have 15 laps left to activate your copy..
Press any pedal to continue…
Click [OK] if you want to use your breaks …– click — Are you sure … ?
This driver is not certified. Are you sure?
Start -> Run…
It is exactly what the FIA wants, after each update it will go slower

Ok, enough. BTW, Microsoft announced to support ODF. They are even experimenting with a converter at sf.net.
