Help to set a Guinness World Record
Had a great time in Berlin last week. A lot is already said about it, so I won’t repeat that. I just had a good time.
Now, for something completely different. SpreadFirefox has a mission to set a World Record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours. The only thing you need to do is give your e-mailaddress so you will be notified when Firefox 3 is released. When that happens, download it! As it will bring some publicity for the open source world, it is a good initiative, so help to reach their mission!

…but I’m loyal to Konqueror.
hell yeah, DDOS mozilla servers! :D
What problems do you have? Flash works, one hopes proxy support will go in soon, and there’s a zillion performance upgrades.
I’m also loyal to konqi. 4.1′s version is just unusable right now for production, so I have to have an alternative.
I pledged, great initiative, everybody join!
Hey, I like the initiave as a marketing show, but will it take into account the number of “downloads” made by the package system of the different linux distributions?
I think that, in the linux world, going to a webpage to download a software is, at least, uncommon.
Anyway, I may download a copy to help Firefox to get the record, but that copy will be useless for me.
