I like ads because they make money on one way or other, so its a good think that you can earn money with a free blog.

@Seeker, I don’t like ads much and I don’t like the owner of blogspot either. So, not for me. Thank god for choice ;-)

I still like to use blogspot for blogs, you can make as much as you want, easy intergrate ads, I now even am intergrating infolinks.

All in all it looks pretty good, this wordpress of yours! I have been curious for some time and the backend and the files on the server look simple and doable. Maybe we can sell it to a client in the future…

I found blazeblogger for myself. You cannot have a software that focuses more on blogging than this :)

Its a set of perl scripts for adding, edting, listing blog posts and is highly influenced by git (which doesnt mean its hard to learn, quite the opposite – its VERY easy)

Then there is a final command that will create the content and it does it FAST.

Maybe you want to give it a try. If you have ssh access to your webhost, its a very very nice alternative to all those bloated blog systems.
There is only one drawback: Since the resulting page is static you have no comments.
